Every other year, Mpire Weddings rolls out its much-awaited awards- and June 2025 was no different.  This time, I found myself in a surprising spot: illustrating hand-drawn caricatures for some of the Mpire crew.

Now, I’m usually someone who’s more at home with watercolors, working with real brushes and pencils on paper—not screens. Portraits aren’t really my comfort zone, and caricatures? Never tried one before. But with barely a few days in hand and seven faces to draw, I took on the challenge headfirst. Safe to say, this one truly pushed me out of my usual flow.
