The couple wanted their guests to experience a glimpse of their hometown staycation — not just through the invite, but in every welcome moment, from room settings to heartfelt hellos.
Rooted in the quiet charm of the Uttarakhand valleys, this wedding suite for Shambhi & Monal is a celebration of home, heritage, and heartfelt details. Traditional borders inspired by handwoven shawls frame each card, while a delicate Himalayan bloom — the Polygonum amplexicaule — adds a botanical touch. With minimal design, foiled names, and an envelope that feels like a valley postcard, every element is designed with meaning and made with care.
The property where everyone is staying has a century-old post office, and we customized a postal ticket for each visitor. We wanted everyone to learn more about the local culture once they reached the destination, so the couple handcrafted the welcome hamper and incorporated their initials in an itinerary with Bhuli art. To show love and gratitude towards their friends, they planned a weekend getaway filled with surprises after the wedding to keep the excitement alive!
